After an extensive research of 'lettuces' I came to a definite answer to the question that Sarah D. had asked me last month: what kind of lettuce am I? I would have to say.... I am a "Red Leaf Lettuce" for the following reason:
"As for salad bowl above. As with all red lettuce, grow for appearance in salads, not the rather bitter taste." done.
